This wallet is made from Italian Gaucho Oil leather, known as some of the finest leather available, and accented with Pueblo leather for added contrast and texture. It is hand stitched with Ritza Tiger thread for long term durability.
Gaucho Oil is a full grain, vegetable tanned leather infused with oils and waxes. It has a matte finish, a firm feel at first, and will soften and develop a deep natural patina over time.
Pueblo leather is also vegetable tanned and lightly buffed on the surface, giving it a slightly rough, matte look that smooths out and darkens with use.
Vegetable tanned leather, or veg tan, is processed using natural tannins from tree bark rather than chemicals. It is known for its strength, structure, and the way it ages, gaining character over time instead of wearing out.
